BC-based asthma study recruiting participants

A new study assessing whether text messages between patients and pharmacists in British Columbia can help patients with their asthma medication plan is looking for participants.

The EmPhAsIS (Empowering Pharmacists in Asthma management through Interactive SMS) study is a 12-month trial examining whether enhanced involvement of community pharmacists in asthma management through text interactions with patients can lead to better medication adherence and improved health outcomes.
